Translation Propagation

I thought that my readers would be interested to know that my article, "Translation Or Interpretation?" has made the rounds in cyberspace. A Yahoo discussion group called "Which Version?" has raised a number of objections against it. The group's moderator, Will Kenney, has left a lengthy comment if anyone is interested. Additionally, linguist Wayne Leman made some remarks regarding the article on Better Bibles Blog. Finally, the ESV's official blog linked to it in one of their entries.

The potential of an article posted online never ceases to amaze me.

Incidentally, I apologize for the lack of activity at Truth and Repose. I've been out of town lately, and it has been hard to find time to write anything. Next week I begin a meeting at the Ninth Avenue Church of Christ, so my posting will continue to be sporadic.
