Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and Now This!

Today South Dakota's Governor signed a bill into law that bans all abortions across the state, with the exception of those that would save a mother's life. Even abortions in cases of rape and incest are prohibited.

Yesterday Todd Clippard, preacher for the Burleson church of Christ in Hamilton, Alabama, wrote this in his bulletin:

The South Dakota legislature has passed a bill that will outlaw practically all abortions. The governor has promised to sign the legislation,
realizing this will probably end up in the Supreme Court.

President Bush’s two Supreme Court appointees are viewed to be in favor of restricting abortion rights. This shows why your vote for President is so important. Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and any other leading Democrat would never appoint a pro-life Supreme Court justice.

This could be a great opportunity to begin a rollback of the hellish 1973 Roe vs Wade ruling. More than 30 million babies have been murdered since that terrible decision. Pray for the end of abortion here and everywhere!

South Dakota has only one abortion clinic, run by Planned Parenthood. The state's citizenry is largely opposed to this evil. I'm surprised things are happening this fast. Maybe change is on the horizon. Time will only tell.
