Another Breakthrough in Stem Cell Research

Harvard scientists have possibly found yet another alternative to deriving stem cells to the detriment of human embryos. By fusing adult skin cells with embryonic stem cells, they may be able to create useful stem cells without first destroying human embryos.

This is just more evidence showing that the tradeoff presented by today's stem cell research is unnecessary. It makes no sense to destroy one life to save another.

Remember, the debate is not over the use of stem cells. It is over the extraction of these stem cells. Christians are not opposed to the use of adult stem cells, for this does not require the destruction of human life. They are opposed, however, to research involving embryonic stem cells because this fosters a total lack of respect for human life.
